About Toni Loh
Toni Loh (born Janina Sombetzki; pronouns: none; they/them; neopronouns) is a doctor of philosophy and a certified anti-bias facilitator. Since October 2024, Loh has been a professor of applied ethics – in particular ethics and transformation – at the Bonn Rhine Sieg University (Center for Ethics and Responsibility and Department of Social Policy and Social Security Studies). In addition to responsibility, transhumanism and posthumanism (in particular critical posthumanism) and robot ethics, their specific research interests include Hannah Arendt, feminist philosophy of technology, polyamory (and poly-ethics), medicine and bio-ethics or ethics in social work and healthcare, discernment theories and ethics in science.
