About Jonas Lüscher
Jonas Lüscher, born 1976 in Zurich, is a Swiss-German writer and essayist. He studied at the Munich School of Philosophy and worked as a freelance lecturer. His novella “Frühling der Barbaren” (2013) became a bestseller, was longlisted for the German Book Prize and was nominated for the Swiss Book Prize. It has been translated into numerous languages and adapted for the stage. Among other honours, Lüscher received the Literary Award of Canton Bern, the Hans Fallada Prize and the Prix Franz Hessel. He is a member of the German PEN Centre and lives in Munich. He recently published his first novel, “Kraft”.
