His work takes journalist Paul Ronzheimer to the world’s trouble spots: He has reported from war-torn regions and crisis zones, such as Ukraine, Syria and Afghanistan. In Germany, he works as the deputy editor-in-chief of Bild newspaper and hosts “Ronzheimer.”, one of the country’s most successful news podcasts. He also presents his own TV reportage series called “Ronzheimer – wie gehts, Deutschland?”. He has won prizes for his reporting on global crises and for his podcast, but the tabloid newspaper where he works is often criticized for its methods and framing.
On stage, cabaret artist Florian Schroeder (most recently: “Happy End - The Pursuit of Happiness (and Its Illusion)”) will talk and debate with Paul Ronzheimer about his work in the tabloid press and the trenches of war, exploring the boundaries of the journalistic ethos.
