About Paul Ronzheimer
Paul Ronzheimer was born in Aurich (East Frisia) in 1985. He is deputy editor in chief of BILD newspaper and part of the Axel Springer Global Reporters Network. He reports live from crisis regions worldwide. In 2023, he was named “Journalist of the Year 2022” by Medium Magazin. Since 2023, he has co-hosted the podcast “Ronzheimer” with Filipp Piatov. It won the Bambi media prize in the “cultural podcasts” category in 2025 as well as the YouTube Podcast Award in the category “audio to video” in February 2026.
