Bei Philosophen denken wir an große Denker und alte, weise Männer. Doch auch viele Philosophinnen haben wichtige Beiträge zu zentralen Fragen unseres Lebens geleistet und tun es immer noch. Christine de Pizan, Émilie du Châtelet, Audre Lorde und Christine Korsgaard sind einige von ihnen. Sie behandeln Themen wie Ethik, Erkenntnistheorie oder politische Philosophie und eröffnen neue Perspektiven auf Fragen der Gerechtigkeit, Verantwortung und des guten Lebens. Luisa Büschleb-Köppen, Anne Burkard, Katharina Naumann und Katharina Schulz, die im Bereich der Philosophiedidaktik forschen und lehren, geben in ihrem Buch Mit Philosophinnen denken fachliche Einordnungen und helfen dabei, die Inhalte besser zu verstehen und in größere Zusammenhänge einzuordnen.
