About Alice Hasters

Alice Hasters was born in Cologne in 1989. She lives and works as an author and journalist in Berlin. She has worked for Tagesschau, among others, and has presented programmes on Deutschlandfunk Nova and RBB. She talks to Maxi Häcke about feminism and pop culture in the podcast "Feuer & Brot". Her first book, "What White People Don't Want to Hear About Racism, But Should Know," ranked fifth on the 2020 annual bestseller list for non-fiction paperbacks. In the same year, she was voted Cultural Journalist of the Year. Her most recent book is "Identitätskrise".
