About Wolfgang Palaver
Wolfgang Palaver holds a doctorate in theology and was a professor of Christian sociology from 2002 until 2023 in the Catholic theology faculty of the University of Innsbruck. Since 2019, he has been the president of the organization Pax Christi Austria and since 2025, the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office on Combating Racism, Xenophobia and Discrimination, also focusing on Intolerance and Discrimination against Christians and Members of Other Religions.
