About Roberto Simanowski

Roberto Simanowski is a cultural scholar and media philosopher who lives in Rio de Janeiro and Berlin. He has authored more than 15 books about art, culture and the politics of digital media. After working as a professor in the USA, Hong Kong and Switzerland, he is currently a visiting scholar at Harvard University and the Free University of Berlin. His book “Death Algorithm: The Artificial Intelligence Dilemma” won the Tractatus Award for philosophical essay writing in 2020.
