About René Scheu
Author René Scheu studied Italian studies and holds a doctorate in philosophy. From 2016 until 2021, he headed up the arts and culture section of newspaper Neue Zürcher Zeitung. Since then, he has been the managing director of the Institute for Swiss Economic Policy (IWP) at the University of Lucerne. He has published, translated and written numerous books, most recently “Das positive Leben. Eine neue Aufklärung für unsere verrückte Zeit” [“The Positive Life: A New Enlightenment for Our Crazy Times”] and “Sätze über Sätze. ABC des wachen Denkens” [“Sentences Upon Sentences: A Guide to Vigilant Thinking”] (both co-written with Markus Gabriel).
