About Norbert Heikamp
Norbert J. Heikamp was born in Witten an der Ruhr in 1955. He is an interpreter and translator for German, English, French and Italian. At Cologne University of Applied Sciences, he initially worked as a contract lecturer and later as an instructor in the languages department (simultaneous interpreting, translation). Since 1980, he has done numerous interpreting jobs for various clients, including former German Chancellors Helmut Schmidt and Gerhard Schroeder, and media outlets such as WDR, ZDF, ARTE, 3sat, Phoenix and more.
