About Mirna Funk
Born in East Berlin in 1981, Mirna Funk studied philosophy and now works as a writer and as a freelance journalist for publications including Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Süddeutsche Zeitung and Die Zeit. Her monthly sex column has appeared in Cosmopolitan since 2021 and from 2018-2020, she wrote about Jewish life for Vogue online. Her debut novel “Winternähe” (2015) won the Uwe Johnson Prize, while her non-fiction book “Who Cares!” (2022) became an immediate bestseller. Mirna Funk lives in Berlin and Tel Aviv.
