About Kohei Saito
Born in 1987, Kohei Saito is associate professor of philosophy at the University of Tokyo. He obtained his doctorate at Humboldt University of Berlin in 2016. He is a co-publisher of the Marx-Engels-Gesamtausgabe (MEGA) and was honored with the Isaac Deutscher Prize in 2018. Saito’s book “Slow Down: The Degrowth Manifesto” was a huge hit in Japan, where it sold more than 500,000 copies.
