About Jürgen Wiebicke
Jürgen Wiebicke works as a freelance journalist in Cologne and hosts the weekly show “Das philosophische Radio” on WDR5. He is the author of the books “Can We Remain as We Are?” (2013), “On Foot Across an Anxious Country” (2016) and “Ten Rules for Saviours of Democracy” (2017). In 2021, he published “Seven Herrings”, telling the story of his mother and the generation that grew up just before and during the Second World War. His most recent work is entitled “Emotional Imbalance” (2023). He is one of the program directors of the international philosophy festival phil.COLOGNE.
