About Didier Eribon
Didier Eribon, born in 1953 in Reims, is a French sociologist, author and philosopher. His book “Returning to Reims”, originally published in French in 2009, made him famous in the German-speaking region as well when it was published in German translation in 2016. The autofictional essay was celebrated as a literary event and a key text to understand the rise of right-wing populism.
