About Martin Stankowski

Born in 1944 in the Sauerland region, Martin Stankowski works as a journalist, storyteller, presenter, radio author and city guide. He studied German literature, theology and journalism and subsequently worked in a printing company. In the 1970s he was one of the co-founders of the “Kölner VolksBlatt”, the first alternative newspaper in Cologne. As a journalist, he now primarily works as a book and radio author for WDR, but also for other radio stations.
