I am not unfamiliar with death. With Elke Büdenbender and Eckhard Nagel

Where have we encountered death, and how does that change our lives? How do people imagine their deaths, and why does it often happen differently? What did the corona pandemic change?
Elke Büdenbender, legal scholar and wife of Germany’s Federal President, and her good friend, the doctor, theologist and philosopher Eckhard Nagel, one of Germany’s leading transplantation surgeons, talk openly and personally, wisely and knowledgeably, about something that affects us all. Both of them have up-close, personal experience with mortality and loss. The First Lady was forced to face her own vulnerability at a young age, while Eckhard Nagel is regularly confronted with the death of others in his day-to-day professional work.
A call to reintegrate death in our lives.
