Born in 1964, Richard David Precht is a philosopher, journalist and author. He is an honorary professor of philosophy at the Leuphana University Lüneburg, as well as an honorary professor of philosophy and aesthetics at the Hanns Eisler School of Music in Berlin. Since his success with “Who Am I? And If So, How Many?”, all his books on philosophical or sociopolitical topics have been best sellers, translated into more than 40 languages. Since 2012, he has hosted the philosophy program “Precht” on the German TV channel ZDF. His most recent publication was “Hunters, Herdsmen, Critics” (2018).
