Born in 1968, Michael Hesse is a political journalist at the newspaper “Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger”, focusing on ethics and science as well as international politics. He also writes for the newspapers “Berliner Zeitung” and “Frankfurter Rundschau”. He studied philosophy, history and political science in Cologne. He is primarily interested in epistemology, especially the philosophy of Immanuel Kant and questions of ethics. As a freelance journalist, he has written for “Süddeutsche Zeitung”, “Neue Zürcher Zeitung” and “Philosophie Magazin”.
