About Robert Habeck

Born in Lübeck in 1969, Robert Habeck is a German politician. From 2004 until 2009, he was head of the Green party in the federal state of Schleswig-Holstein and from 2009 until 2012, he was the chair of the Greens fraction in the state parliament. From 2012 until 2018, he was Deputy Premier of Schleswig-Holstein and Minister for Energy, Agriculture, Environment, Rural Areas and Digitalization. He has been co-chair of the Green party in Germany since 2018. His publications include the 2016 political autobiography “Daring to Begin. Politics and Me” and the 2018 book “Who We Could Be”, about the relationship between politics and language. In 2021, he released “Different, From Now On”.
