About Michel Friedman

Michel Friedman was born in 1956 in Paris. He is a philosopher and lawyer, as well as a director of the Center for Applied European Studies (CAES) at the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, and the host of various talk shows for Deutsche Welle, SWR and Die Welt. He also works as an author for the daily newspaper “Die Welt” and hosts a political talk series at the Berliner Ensemble. Together with Harald Welzer, he released the book “Turning Point. The Attack on Democracy and Human Dignity” in 2021.
